EFFECT OF USING FLIPPED CLASSROOM FOR TEACHING WRITING BASED ON STUDENTS' MOTIVATION: A QUASI-EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH

The flipped Classroom is an approach that has been often mentioned in recent years, namely a learning model which pedagogical concepts are reversed can reorganize students' needs to ensemble the times modern era. This research aimed analyze: (1) Does Flipped have better effectiveness than Conventional Learning Model for teaching writing?; (2) Do high-motivation students show writing competencies low-motivation students?; (3) Is there any relationship between and motivation conducting subject? Institut Teknologi & Bisnis Bakti Nusantara location this quasi-experimental study. researchers employed two classes study: control experimental classes. 48 as sample of study each class consists 24 both test questionnaire were collecting data instrument. Before utilizing Tukey identify significance different pairs group means, conducted 2x2 Multifactor Analysis Variance analysis. findings unraveled mean scores F1M1 70, F1M2 75, F2M1 68, F2M2 69. finding concludes offers conventional teach writing, differences by who low high motivation, There interactions student's writing. Therefore, expected provide implications implementing Classrooms with LMS English higher education institutions Indonesia encourage improvement flipped-classroom on larger scale.
